Mirador del Universo Trail

Open Access Trail (10 km round trip with 900m elevation gain, 5 hrs, moderately high difficulty)
This trail follows an old muleteer path that takes us above the treeline, offering marvelous views of the glaciers and the valley. The trail passes through ancient coigue forests before reaching lenga forests that grow in the high parts of the Andes in this region of Patagonia. The trail features several viewpoints at different elevations, with views from the headwaters of the Ventisquero River in the west to its meeting with the Puelo River in the east. With luck, we may even see the flight of the Condor.
