Voluntarios y prácticas

We welcome volunteers and interns who love nature and working with the land. The main tasks are fieldwork and attending to our guests.

Las tareas

Fieldwork
We follow the methods of organic, biointensive, and regenerative agriculture as practiced by two great masters of agriculture: Jean Martin Fortier and Curtis Stone. They demonstrate that there is an alternative to industrial agriculture. Agriculture based on fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals is harmful to health and the soil, leaving nutrients and minerals immobilized and unable to be absorbed by plants.

• Primarily fieldwork tasks

• Planting, harvesting, and gathering
• Herding sheep and feeding horses
• Working with oxen and carts
• Transporting loads with packhorses
• Fixing fences and gates
• Cleaning the area (separating and managing waste in a remote area)

Responsible Tourism
From this perspective, responsible tourism involves developing and applying business management tools to minimize the negative impacts of tourism and increase the benefits for the host population. This is achieved through the application of voluntary good practices that favor the social, economic, and/or environmental conditions of the destination.
